James has been working as a carpenter since 2018, bringing a creative eye and a background in fine art to his craft. He studied at Central Saint Martins, where he developed his interest in design and making, before moving into hands-on work. His transition into carpentry was driven by a desire to work more directly with materials and processes, and he’s since built up a broad skillset across residential joinery, cabinetry, and bespoke furniture-making.
